BRIGHT AND SPACIOUS TREATMENT ROOMS FOR HEALING ARTS PRACTITIONERS

After years of working in offices across Manhattan and Brooklyn, two acupuncturists took all we learned from maneuvering through other people’s treatment spaces, availability that never quite fit, and unexpected building and lease surprises, and created a reliable and relaxing home for our practices — one that would finally meet and exceed all of our needs.

With that in mind, our unique NoMad space was designed and built with thoughtfulness, intention, and great care, and opened in 2019. Currently a group of acupuncturists, breathwork practitioners, holistic estheticians, craniosacral therapists, and massage therapists and bodyworkers, we are mutually supportive practitioners who welcome licensed healing arts practitioners looking for a beautiful, spacious, centrally located space to offer your work.

OUR SPACES

THE PEACEFUL ROOM

This room is on the building interior and faces south, with 1 loft window, brighter in the afternoons. Currently a shared space used by acupuncturists, Room 1 is 7.5’ x 14.5’ and equipped with:

  • Treatment table and wheeled stool, 2 chairs, towel warmer, coat hooks, Sonos speaker, and AC / fan

  • Linens, table paper, paper and cleaning products, and sharps disposal

  • Treatment table can be folded and removed if not needed for your practice

THE MAGICAL ROOM

This room is on the building interior and faces south, with 1 loft window and daylight that’s especially bright in the afternoons. Currently a shared space, Room 2 is 7.5’ x 14.5’ and equipped with:

  • Treatment table and wheeled stool, 2 chairs, coat hooks, Sonos speaker, infrared heat lamp, and AC / fan

  • Linens, table paper, paper and cleaning products, and sharps disposal

  • Treatment table can be folded and removed if not needed for your practice

THE SPACIOUS RETREAT

This room faces north, with 2 loft windows and plenty of natural light all day long. Currently a shared space, Room 4 is 10.75’ x 12’ and equipped with:

  • Treatment table and wheeled stool, 1 chair, coat hooks, Sonos speaker, infrared heat lamp, and AC / fan

  • Linens, table paper, paper and cleaning products, and sharps disposal

  • Happy plants

  • Treatment table cannot be folded or removed

THE BRIGHT ROOM

Our largest and brightest room, Room 6 faces north, with 2 loft windows and tons of natural light all day long. Home to an acupuncturist, Room 6 is 13 ’x 12’ and equipped with:

  • Only room with a dedicated video intercom

  • Treatment table and wheeled stool, 2 chairs, coat hooks, Sonos speaker, infrared heat lamp, and AC / fan.

  • Linens, table paper, paper and cleaning products, and sharps disposal

  • Treatment table can be folded and removed if not needed for your practice

  • Ideal for anyone who needs more space or does more active / movement-based work

FEATURES

  • Spacious office suite in loft building, with 6 treatment rooms, designed for the comfort of both clients and practitioners

  • Furnished, above average sized treatment rooms with tall ceilings and operable windows

  • Network of mutually supportive practitioners

  • Ability to set your hours and access the space whenever you’d like

  • Exceptional sound proofing built into the walls (though of course, this is Manhattan, and the ambient sounds of NYC will continue to filter in)

  • Use of shared office and amenities (wifi, desk space, laser printer, paper shredder)

  • Use of kitchenette with toaster oven, refrigerator, selection of teas, and Berkey water filter

  • Accessibility — Our building is wheelchair accessible and there is 1 spacious elevator and 1 small elevator; however, there is a 1” step up on our floor between the elevator and the hallway to our suite. The restroom is a unisex single stall restroom and is not wheelchair accessible.

  • Full time rooms and regular full days (ie every Monday) are available, with discounted rates on weekends. Half-days and hours as needed are available as well.
